Jeannine Waken is an intellectual property paralegal in Cleveland, Ohio. She graduated Cleveland State University with a B.A. in Philosophy with a major in Logic.  She has worked in the field of intellectual property for 30 years handling patent, trademark and copyright searching; foreign and U. S. Patent, trademark and copyright preparation and filing; and litigation support.  Ms. Waken has also worked with clients presenting Intellectual Property in house workshops and worked as an in house paralegal for major clients.     Upon completing her Master’s Degree in Philosophy (specializing in Bioethics) from Cleveland State University, Ms. Waken became an adjunct facilitator for Ursuline College’s UCAP program.  Ms. Waken has presented lectures nationally on bioethical issues, trademarks and PCT patent filing.  She is past Vice President of the Cleveland Legal Secretaries Association, a member of the Ohio Bar Association and The Catholic Philosophical Association.  She also serves on the Admissions Committee for the Cleveland Catholic Diocese Diaconate Program.
